Organizational Vision

The CRCD advocates better educational opportunities for children in rural areas through community participation.

Citizen Base Strategy

CBI awarded CRCD for its strategy to blend informal education activities for the community and income generation for the organization. The CRCD establishes children clubs in rural areas where children of age 6 to 14 will come together and their parents pay small fee for the service. In addition, the initiative enhances stakeholders’ active involvement as local communities take care of clubs’ accommodation. CRCD’s initiative improves education for children in the rural areas and raises parents’ awareness. Thus it enhances the community’s active participation in the program and generates resources allowing for program’s self-sufficiency.
